The moment you switch on the Galaxy Note 9, the first thing you will notice is the gorgeous display. No wonder, DisplayMate rated it the best display on a smartphone yet. It flaunts a 6.4-inch QHD+ (1440×2960 pixels) Super AMOLED display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
On paper, the Galaxy Note 9 features a dual 12-megapixel sensors at the back. But the highlight is the cameras’ Artificial Intelligence chops. Samsung says that using AI, the cameras can “identify elements of a photo, such as scene and subject.” It can essentially categorize photos into one of 20 categories, and then optimize the photo based on the category. Another feature is called ‘Flaw Detection’, which can prompt users of anything wrong with a photo liked blurred subject or if a person’s eyes are closed.
