From Xiaomi 12 Ultra to ASUS ROG Phone 6, here's the list of 8 upcoming phones coming with the newest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.

Xiaomi 12 Ultra

The most anticipated smartphone to launch with the new Qualcomm chip will be the Xiaomi 12 Ultra. The phone will come with a 120Hz screen with 2k resolution. One of its highlights will be the Leica-branded cameras. The device is expected to have a 50MP main lens, and two 48MP units for ultra-wide and telephoto shots. Just like the predecessor, it will come with 120x zoom support.


Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition

Realme will launch its GT 2 Master Explorer Edition smartphone with the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The device will come in the premium segment and is expected to be a big upgrade over the predecessor GT Master Explorer Edition, which had Snapdragon 870 SoC.



OSOM will also launch its first device dubbed OSOM OV1 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. For those unaware, it is a brand developed by the brains behind Essential. The phone and the brand in itself is said to focus on offering privacy-centric features.


OnePlus 10 Ultra

OnePlus will bring its OnePlus 10 Ultra with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The phone is expected to come with a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with 1440 x 3216 resolution and a high refresh rate. It will feature a triple camera system and 80W wired and 50W wireless fast charging support.


IQOO 10 Pro

iQOO will be another brand employing the new chipset in its iQOO 10 Pro. The device will debut later this year and is expected to carry forward the design batton from its predecessor iQOO 9 Pro.


Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 will be another phone, due for the August launch that will come with the latest flagship chipset from Qualcomm. It will be a successor to the Fold 3 and will come with a better 10MP telephoto lens with 3x zoom support. The device will have two screens and a 4,400mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.


Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 will also accompany the Z Fold 4. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The phone was recently spotted on Geekbench with 1277 and 3642 points on the Geekbench platform. It will come with an OLED display and have a 25W fast charging support, an upgrade from the predecessor, and the same as the Z Fold 4.


ASUS ROG Phone 6

Lastly, ASUS has announced that its upcoming ROG Phone 6 will come powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. While the name of the smartphone is known, the details about its specs remain unknown. But since it will be a gaming phone, expect a high refresh rate screen and a good cooling system.
