IOS 16

While Apple will be announcing several upgrades to its software skins on all of its devices, the one for which, we all are excited the most, is probably the new iOS version. Apple will be releasing the iOS 16 at the WWDC event on June 6. Rumors have it that iOS 16 will bring some changes to the notifications on iPhones. Some lock screen features are also reported to come to the new version. With iOS 16, Apple is expected to offer the Always-On-Display feature, but it will most likely be limited to the upcoming iPhone 14 Pro. The new OS will also bring an upgrade to the Health app on iPhones. Also, we are expected to see 'Social network-like functionality on messages with iOS 16. This feature will be for the audio message on iPhones.. Apart from this, some features for Apple's mixed reality headset could also arrive on iOS.

IPadOS 16

The new iPadOS 16 is all set to bring some much-awaited features that will allow iPads to feel like you're using a desktop or Mac. A refreshed multitasking interface, resizable windows(finally), and several other features are expected to come. Additionally, with iPadOS 16, if you connect your keyboard and mouse to the iPad, it will instantly shrink apps to make the contents on the screen appear Mac-like, offering an experience similar to a desktop.

MacOS 13

A new macOS version is slated to arrive at the WWDC event. Apple will unveil the new macOS 13 for MacBooks and iMacs. Unfortunately, there's no concrete leak that reveals any of its features. But it is expected that the new OS will bring some interesting features that will make the macOS more refine, as it has been with the previous versions.

WatchOS 9

While the Apple Watch is great for tracking health information, users have to always go to iPhones to look for detailed data. But this could change with WatchOS 9, as Apple may bring the Health app to Apple Watch offering more information and control to it. Other features like better HomeKit integration and a Notes app on the Watch are expected.

TvOS 16

Apple will also debut the tvOS 16 next week at the WWDC event. However, there are little to no details about what's being updated on the TV skin. Surely, there will be something improved since the new version number, but it could only be fewer changes. Some features we expect are split view mode similar to Macs and the SharePlay feature.

Apple Headset, MacBook Air, Mac Pro

Software aside, Apple could give us a glimpse of the long-rumored Apple mixed reality headset. The VR/AR headset was in development for a long. It could finally make its way at the event, although chances are slim. Apple may also launch the new MacBook Air 2022 at the WWDC 2022 event. The new MacBook could come with the M2 chipset, bringing a big performance jump from the predecessor. A Silicon-powered Mac Pro could also launch at the event. While hardware launches usually are limited at the WWDC event, Apple may still surprise us with a couple of these devices.
