The Kentucky Flying Object (KFO) is a limited edition drone from KFC, but you can't just walk into a KFC outlet and buy it. We had a chance to play with it though.
KFC India is back with its fun campaigns, and this time it flies. Quite literally. KFC has unveiled a new product called the Kentucky Flying Object – a DIY drone that you could win too if you are really lucky. Here’s the second part of our video.
In select KFC stores across ten Indian cities, starting tomorrow, that is January 25, you could win a box of a DIY drone, if and only if you order the Smokey Grilled Wings. So, if you are a vegetarian, you have no chance to win the drone. The offer only lasts till January 26.
The offer stands in select stores in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Pune and Kochi only. Do note, that just ordering the chicken wings does not guarantee you win the DIY box. Once you have bought the wings, it’s somewhat like entering a lucky draw, you may or may not win it. 24 customers across India have the chance to win.
In case you fail to win the KFO, next week KFC will also start selling the product on its official website.
As for the DIY, setting up the drone is an easy task, minus the strength you need to put together some of it parts. You could refer our video below on how the drone works and how you can set it up.
The drone is controlled via an app called the KFO Controller, which is available on both iOS and Android. The video above also shows how you can calibrate, test and run the drone. Let us know how was your experience with the KFC drone!
